The Sequence Window II
A new window replaces the Sequence Display window after the Columns button is picked. From this window you may select which types of items to show. Items which are highlighted in blue were already selected for display. The black highlights show that here the user has selected two additional items for display, "3 Frame Translation" and ORF's (open reading frames). Selecting is done by clicking once with the rightmost mouse button, clicking an item again will unselect it. In order to show the A's G's T's and C's of the sequence you need to click on "DNA Sequence" (third from the bottom) before clicking on the "Return to display" button. We won't describe the other features that are available, but you can experiment to see what sort of displays are produced
